MadMetrics is operated by Sebastien Palma, based in Paris, France. As a micro-enterprise providing data consulting services, Sebastien Palma is the data controller responsible for the processing of your personal data.

2. Data We Collect
We collect only the data necessary to deliver our services and operate this website:
- Contact information: name, email address, company name, provided through our contact form or diagnostic funnel.
- Professional context: company size, industry, budget range, timeline, current analytics stack, and your message. This information helps us understand your needs before an engagement.
- Website URL: provided when you run a MadScan audit.
- Lead qualification score: a score from 0 to 100, computed automatically from your funnel answers (see Section 8).
- Consent preferences: your cookie and tracking choices, stored locally on your device.
- Usage data: pages visited, session duration, and referral source, collected via Google Analytics 4 only with your explicit consent.
- UTM parameters: we detect the presence of campaign parameters for attribution purposes. We do not store the parameter values themselves beyond the analytics session.
3. Legal Basis for Processing
We process your data under the following legal bases (Article 6 GDPR):
- Consent (Art. 6.1.a): for analytics cookies and tracking via Google Analytics 4. You can withdraw consent at any time through the cookie banner or by contacting us.
- Pre-contractual measures (Art. 6.1.b): when you submit the diagnostic funnel or book a call, we process your data to evaluate your needs and prepare a potential engagement.
- Legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f): anonymized performance monitoring via Vercel Analytics and SpeedInsights, which operate without cookies and collect no personal data.
4. How We Use Your Data
- Respond to inquiries and prepare proposals for potential engagements.
- Schedule diagnostic calls via Cal.com.
- Run MadScan audits on URLs you provide.
- Compute a lead qualification score to prioritize follow-up (see Section 8).
- Monitor website performance using anonymized, cookieless tools.
- Improve site experience through consent-gated analytics.
5. Processors and Data Transfers
We share your data only with the following service providers, strictly for operational purposes:

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. No data is shared with advertisers.
6. Data Retention
- Contact and lead data: 24 months after the last interaction, then deleted.
- MadScan reports: 12 months, then automatically purged.
- Cookie and consent preferences: renewed every 12 months (see our Cookie Policy).
- Analytics data: retained per Google Analytics 4 default settings (14 months), consent-gated.
7. Your Rights
Under GDPR (Articles 15 to 22), you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erase your data ("right to be forgotten").
- Restrict processing in certain circumstances.
- Data portability in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Object to processing based on legitimate interest.
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
- Request human review of any automated decision (see Section 8).

8. Automated Profiling
When you complete the diagnostic funnel, we compute a lead qualification score (0 to 100) based on your answers: company size, budget range, timeline, industry, and current analytics stack. This score helps us prioritize follow-up and tailor our response to your context.
This scoring has no legal or similarly significant effect. It does not determine pricing, restrict access to services, or result in automated decisions. A human always reviews your request before any engagement begins. You may request an explanation of your score or ask for human review at any time.
